StarZen's Stories module consists of two separate DotNetNuke modules.
The actual Story module that handles the editing and displaying of stories and the second one a category module that adds the capabilities to categorize stories and show these categories on your web site.
The Story module itself is built to combine the features of several different modules into one.
A story can be a link to either an internal DotNetNuke page, a link to an external URL or an actual single page or multi page HTML/Text page.
As already mentioned a story can be written across multiple pages, has properties such as Author, Publisher, publish date and expire date as well as an additional text box and an image to be shown in the category module.
The stories module also supports required approval to support a writer/editor relationship.
Stories can either be placed on a page manually or can be handled via the categories module. If the story is placed on its own page the page can be fully maintained within DotNetNuke of course.
The Categories module allows you to create several categories. Each story can be assigned to any number of categories.
One or more category modules can be placed anywhere on a page and then show a catagory. The data shown in the category module can be customized.
